Highlights:
Guadalupe Mountains National Park offers limited on-site RV camping facilities. However, several nearby campgrounds provide suitable accommodations for RV travelers.
1. Pine Springs Campground (On-Site)
Location: Located within the park near the Pine Springs Visitor Center.
Amenities: The RV camping area is a paved parking lot with 13 sites. Each site has a picnic table, but there are no hookups, dump stations, or hose connections for fresh water tanks. RVs and trailers longer than 55 feet are prohibited.
Reservations: Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It's advisable to arrive early, especially during peak seasons, to secure a spot.
2. Sunset Reef Campground (Off-Site)
Location: Approximately 32 miles from the park, off Washington Ranch Road between Mile Marker 10 and 11 on US 62/180.
Amenities: The campground offers five RV spaces and six tent sites, each equipped with a covered picnic table and grill. Vault toilets are available on-site. Note that this is a dry camping area with no hookups.
Reservations: Operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum stay of five nights.
3. Camp Washington Ranch (Off-Site)
Location: About 30 miles from the park.
Amenities: Offers RV hookups for both water and electricity (30 amp). A dump station is also available.
